The Perfect Team
Robin is a senior at Catlin Gabel School. She plays soccer, sings in the choir, and is a Co-president on our school's FIRST Robotics team. She looks forward to applying the skills she has learned in robotics to teach new people about STEM and make the world a better place
Jake, a current co-leader of InvenTeams, is a senior at the Catlin Gabel School. He has been studying computer science both on his own and through his classes since he was eleven. Due to his adoration for the subjects, he plans to major in both math and computer science in college. Eventually, he wants to enter academia and become a professor at a research university. He is excited to build projects for InvenTeams to help the community!
Beatrice is a senior at the Catlin Gabel School, and this is her second year on the Catlin InvenTeam. She had a lot fun working on the Lost Exhaust project last year and looks forward to taking on new projects this year! Outside of the lab, Beatrice enjoys playing soccer and tennis, and she also likes doing photography.
Katie McClanan is excited to be back for her third year on the Catlin Gabel Inventeam. She is a current junior with a particular interest in theater, graphic design, and public health. In her past Inventeam years she has worked on graphic design, presentation skills, and marketing, and this year hopes to dive into product design and mechanical engineering.
ulla is a junior at Catlin Gabel, where she has gone to school since kindergarten. This is her first year on InvenTeams and second year on the robotics team. When she's not working on JuiceBox she is working in the robotics lab, singing or playing tennis.
Louis is a junior at the Catlin Gabel School. He has done a variety of extracurricular ranging from Speech and Debate to Piano but also shows interest in the STEM field. He hopes to bring his knowledge from his current advance STEM classes into the real world through inventions made by the Inventeams.
Starting with LEGO robotics in middle schoo, Tyler Nguyen has not only learned valuable skills in public speaking, team management, and entrepreneurship, but also has gained a deep appreciation for STEM. Currently a Sophomore, Tyler is looking forward to applying his skills as a new member in InvenTeams this year and in the following years to come.
Jonathan likes software, games, but most importantly, napping. He probably would’ve written a longer and more creative bio, but was too busy considering how to fit games in between his homework, food, and sleep. He is really excited to be a part of Catlin InvenTeams this year!
Layton is currently a sophomore at Catlin Gabel. She is super excited to participate on Inventeams for her second year and hopes to continue working on WatterTrotter, as well as new projects. Outside of school she enjoys soccer, baking, tennis, and watermelon.
Solomon is a sophomore at Catlin Gabel, and this is his second year with Catlin's Engineering Program. He is passionate about product design and community service, and imports classic cars from Colombia to sell in the US. He hopes to pursue a career in business or government.
Lily is a sophomore at Catlin and this is her first year doing Inventeams. She is interested in outreach and coming up with problems in need of a solution. She enjoys writing and skiing.
Anjali is a current sophomore at Catlin Gabel and is interested in solar technology specifically to help the community's homeless people. Her hope is to bring solar panels that would otherwise be wasted to be installed at homeless shelters that would in turn save energy costs for the shelter. Science and technology continues to be out of reach for many girls and she would like to change that by having a STEM day to get young girls interested in science. By joining InvenTeam, she hopes to make both of these goals happen.
Robert is a sophomore at the Catlin Gabel school and has been attending since Kindergarten. He is passionate about government, law, science, and the arts. He is exited about starting his first year on Inventeams.
